Miss us?

So I'm guessing not many missed us, but I have been wanting to post, but our crazy life just keeps getting in the way!  We have had so much happen since my last post...only about 10 months ago. Wow that's bad!!!
I will try to highlight on a few things in the next couple posts, but of course I won't bore you with all of it!

Let's begin with getting up to Easter (minus cousin stuff...I'll have a post just on my niece & nephew later).

Laine was asked to play on the Van Wert 5th grade HoneyBees basketball team.  They weren't a real successful team but they learned lots and had fun!

We got to go watch my boy Kyran play basketall!  Tracy (Ky's Mom) is one of my dear friend from college and Ky is the sweetest young man and the best basketball player ever!  We got to watch Ky play in a tournament in Ft. Wayne one weekend!  It was wonderful!  His Dad, Kelley, is the coach..you can see him to the far right!  It was a great time, as I got to hang out with Tracy and the other sweet McClure kids too!!!  Miss you all!!!

Ok and since I haven't done this in a while, I can't get the pics to go in the right order so this isn't in date order anymore.  Sorry!!

When the girls were on spring break, my Dad took them all 3 with him to go see my Sister, Kendra, in Nashville, TN.  They overall had a great time, but they all HATED the drive!  :) They did all sorts of things. They all missed me though!  Ok not Grace but I know the other 2 really did!

We had an impromptu birthday party for our little friend Haley!  Emma and Haley are like "Peas & Carrots" they love playing together!

One day the girls were playing outside in the spring.  I happened to look and Grace was trying to help teach Emma how to ride a bike!  I was so happy that they were getting along!  Well about 10 min. later it all ended, Emma fell and blamed it on Grace.  Then we were back to normal! ;)

Basketball and Birthdays!

January is a busy birthday month around here...3 of the 5 of us have our birthdays this month.  We also have Uncles and many friends with January birthdays.  So there is always talk about someone's birthday.

Well this year has been no different.  Emma turned the big 5 on Tuesday and she was sooo excited.  We got her some fake nails (stick ons) that we had to put on for school (she came home with 2 left on). She also had to have her hair curled...she slept in foam rollers for the first time and did great!  She also got to pick out her clothes...what a crazy girl!  The best was that she thought she was going to wake up on her birthday and be a lot taller!  I love the way little kids think!   Too cute!  I posted something on Facebook that it was her birthday and I swear she got more messages than I do on my birthday!   She also loved hearing who all left her a message!  She had the biggest smile when I read them to her!  So if you were one of those people.  Thank you for making her day special.  She got a special gift when she got to Grandma's after school...Aunt Trisha, Trinity and Baby Will were there for a visit which was also very special to her!  Here are a couple pics that morning before school.

Grace & Emma started back up with gymnastics in January at the YW and Laine started Basketball again, but this year at the YM.   So far it is going pretty well, she enjoys the girls on her team they all are nice girls.  It is a messed up little league, as there are only 3 teams and all the 6th graders seem to be spread among only 2 of the teams.  But I think they are all still learning.  Laine is also doing a program through the school called Cougar Kittens Basketball.  This also meets on Saturdays, makes for a long day of basketball on Saturdays...just ask Grace!  Laine scored a basket her first game and got a steal last game.  I can see improvement... that's what counts...that and she is having fun!  Here are a couple pics from basketball.  I'm not a great sport photographer, so bear with these pics.

I can't believe January is already 1/2 over.  More posts to come... Grace's birthday is Saturday along with a Basketball double header, so I'll update more soon!  Take care!

Do I even have to title this?

Of course this is going to be my big post of Will pictures.  So if you don't like baby pictures don't bother reading any further. After I did the post below I realized I never stated that Will is my Nephew...not mine...but we love him just as much!  Trinity seems to be adjusting well to having a new little brother although it will have its ups and downs I'm sure!  So here are some of my favorite pics from our 2 visits.  The first ones are from the hospital when Will was 1 day old  (last Thursday) and the pics of him in the blue and white stripes are from last Sunday.  Hope you enjoy these and thanks for letting me brag about my new little Nephew!  Have a great week!
